Terms and conditions of Hire

The insurance included in price is full comprehensive(FCDW)

NO EXCESS and NO DAMAGE DEPOSIT is required for case of damaging the car.
All car parts including the tyres-wheels-hubcups-underside-glass-mirrors-roof-etc are fully insured while driving on asphalt-concrete roads and not under the influence of alcohol-drugs or by unauthorized persons.

The car key and interior of the car are not insured in case of loss or damage.The cost of a lost or broken key is 60 euros in total.

Personal accident insurance for the driver and the passengers and third party liability insurance for death-injuries-material damages are also included in price.

There is no small print regarding exceptions where the insurance is invalid in any case/size of damage/accident.Cases like violation of Greek traffic law, damage on the car when parked and you are not present are also covered.

There is no need for a police report also but you just have to call us in case of accident or damage on the car.

Theft-fire-loss insurance waivers(with no excess),ferry insurance(just for Ithaca & Lixouri ferries),24hrs road assistance are also included.

 

YOUR DRIVING LICENCE(S) MUST BE FROM E.U OR INTERNATIONAL ONE(S) AS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO HIRE A CAR OTHERWISE ACCORDING TO GREEK LAW.

Free extra drivers,unlimited mileage and all local taxes are included in our all inclusive rates.
The petrol amount on the return of the car must be the same with the one you started with.
The car can be driven in Kefalonia & Ithaca only and not in other islands or the mainland.
There is no cancellation fee as you can cancel your reservation any time before you arrive.Also there are no extra charges for out of office hours delivery/collection of the cars.

 

NO CREDIT CARD IS NECESSARY TO HIRE A CAR FROM PEFANIS AS YOU CAN USE CASH(EUROS) TOO OR YOUR CARD TO PAY JUST FOR THE COST OF HIRE.THERE IS NO NEED OF A CREDIT CARD NECESSARILY AS NO DAMAGE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED.
