The Rabbit Hole came from a Dream.....

A dream of a small child looking in the curiosity shops in Yorkshire seaside towns, where the window displays used to make me smile in delight at the weird and wonderful things on display, where the aromas inside the shops were as integral as the products to create memories that could be looked back upon and treasured.

I then came to Greece, to Kefalonia and that dream came true. The Rabbit Hole was born.

In 2013, with no money to my name but a house full of things I’d conjured and no where to sell them I decided to start the business. People told me I was crazy, we were in a crisis, my accountant told me it was mission impossible....a Yorkshire girl, opening a store, in Greece, it was madness...so, I sang him the ‘Mission Impossible’ theme tune, showed him the tattoo on my arm that says “I believe in six impossible things before breakfast”, telling him this was just one and with a lot of grey hairs later two months down the line the shop was born.

7 years later and the virtual Rabbit Hole is now available to purchase inner magpie feeding pieces, all of which are conjured by me, unless otherwise stated.

You can peruse items in our "Online Store" from themes such as Goth Corner where the pieces are made from the tears of Robert Smith, Alice’s House where tiny tea pots can hang from your ears or the keys to wonderland can be found, Underwater World where Horatio that rogue octopus hangs around with mermaids, Mystical Sight  where you can find angel wings and items that are out of this world, these are just a small selection of things to feed your inner magpies.
